Hermit Crab Chirping

Did you know that hermit crabs can "talk"? I caught this amazing audio in my tank last night as a new guy and a freshly molted and grumpy PP exchanged words.

I have never heard my hermit crabs make this noise. How funny!

that is exactly what I heard the other night!!!! I couldn't believe it. I actually got up at 3 am to see what our crab was doing and noticed his salt water dish was empty. I filled it and he stopped chirping. He was happy. They are amazing...aren't they?
