Well I got lots of questions about what kind of crabs I have and as you can see, I love to take photos of them so I decided to feature a new crab at the beginning of each month. Maybe that will help me keep track of them! Meet Jan. She is a female Ecuadorean. Though she is a bit older than the other E's in my tank she still acts young, even more immature than many crabs younger than her as she runs around pushing and shoving the others out of the way. Still I like her because she amuses me playing games and acting silly, making messes and climbing over people to get what she wants.

I know I know, I'm anthropomorphizing this crab but she is truly amusing. I wonder if she realized how silly she looks to me if it would bother her? I am hoping she changes shells soon, the pink doesn't suit her. She's not very ladylike.
